Diplomová práce je založena na katalogizaci děkanské knihovny v Litomyšli, jejího fondu rukopisů a starých tisků, soupisu knih a periodik z 19.a 20. století, při níž byl vytvořen katalog rukopisů a starých tisků, včetně rejstříku osob a institucí zmíněných ve vlastnických poznámkách. Obsahuje úvod ke katalogu, dějiny původce fondu (s důrazem na osudy duchovních správců, kteří se na vzniku fondu podíleli), dějiny knihovních fondů, jejich rozbor(s upozorněním na knihy zajímavé po stránce obsahové i formální), včetně zprávy o stavu souboru před katalogizací, způsobu uspořádání celé děkanské knihovny.This thesis deals with the cataloguing of the Dean's Library in Litomyšl, its collection of manuscripts, old prints and the list of books and periodicals from the 19th and 20th century. A collection of manuscripts, old printings and a list of individuals and institutions mentioned in the remarks dealing with ownership follows. The introductory part, the history of the document collection (the personal information about the clericals who worked on the collection is of particular attention), the history of the library document collection, its analysis (the books of interest are highlighted) and also the note about what the document collection was like before the cataloguing and about the system of arrangement of the dean's library follow.
