Hlavním tématem této diplomové práce je Theatre by the Lake, které se nachází v Anglii. V jednotlivých částech je shrnuta historie divadla, jeho správa a organizace, průběh divadelního roku a repertoár. Práce se na začátku také zabývá kočovným divadlem na českém a anglickém území, což především dokresluje následnou historii Century Theatre. Tento fenomén je zde popsán od jeho počátků až do 90. let, kdy byl následně přemístěn.The main subject of the dissertation is Theatre by the Lake which is situated in England (Lake District). Author of this dissertation summarized in its separate parts history of the theatre, its management and organisation, running of the theatrical year and its repertoire. The dissertation also deals with strolling players in Czech and British countries and mainly completes the history of the Century Theatre which follows. This phenomenon is in the dissertation described from its beginnings to the 90?s when it was moved.
