Cílem práce je přiblížit vývoj a změnu místních a pomístních jmen na Litovelsku s přihlédnutím k historickému a kulturnímu vývoji jednotlivých obcí. Mezi ně patří: Litovel, Červenka, Haňovice, Měrotín, Mladeč a jejich městské části. Práce se tedy zaměřuje na historickou podobu a proměnu těchto názvů. Důraz je kladen především na seznam jmen a na stručný etymologický výklad problematických jevů.The aim of this thesis is to elucidate the development and change of place names in the Litovel region, taking into consideration the historical and cultural development of the respective towns, such as Litovel, Červenka, Haňovice, Měrotín, Mladeč and their urban areas. The thesis concentrates on how the place names looked like in the past and how they changed from the historical point of view. The focus is especially on the list of place names and on the brief etymological interpretation of problematic points.
