Bakalářská práce se zabývá epidemiemi moru v průběhu času. Pojednává především o moru ze 14. století (černá smrt), dále o Velkém moru v Londýně a v neposlední řadě i o morech v českých zemích. Do práce je také vložena krátká zmínka o prvním dýmějovém moru v Evropě (Justiniánův mor) a poslední pandemii moru ve světě. V závěrečné kapitole je pak ještě nastíněn mor v dnešní době. Náplní bakalářské práce je také předložit čtenáři přehledně v historickém kontextu základní příčiny, prevenci a léčbu moru. V této práci jsou mimo jiné také zachyceny psychické stavy obyvatelstva, které bylo bezprostředně morovými epidemiemi zasaženo.This bachelor thesis deals with the epidemic of plague over time. It discusses firstly about the plague in 14th century (The Black Death), next about The Great Plague in London and last but not least about plagues in the Czech lands. There is also a short mention about the first bubonic plague in Europe, which is called "the Justinian Plague`` and about the last pandemic of plague in the world. The plague at the present is characterized in the final chapter of the work. The matter of this work is also to show to readers primary reasons, preventions and treatments of the plague in historical context. There are also described mental conditions of population who was immediately stricken by the epidemic of plague.
