Práce se zabývá zkoumáním robotní problematiky na panství Heřmanův Městec, především robotními resty, reluicemi, abolicemi a následným zrušením. Dále pak sleduje vývoj zrušených robot, tj. tzv. vyvazování a snaží se na základě účetních knich vystihnout, zda se zrušení robot nějakým způsobem promítlo na vrchnostenské hospodaření.The main problems in corvée were that cotters refused fulfil their corvée duty. In domain Heřmanův Městec we run into a corvée arrears too. But it was caused by their illness or stock?s illness. Cotters always promised that in the next period their arrears work out. Next problem was abolition of corvée or its change for money benefit. There was also a problem with legal acts. They firstly recommended abolishing or changing corveé for money and than such an abolishment or change prohibited. In 1830 we meet for the first time a contract in which the corveé was changed for money. But this contract refers only to a few villages. Abolit ion was allowed under the act only in 1846 and in this time we have abolit ion contracts in domain Heřmanův Městec. The corvée was cancelled in 7t h September 1848.Corvée was abolished and replaced by the so-called moderate compensation, which was specified by the act passed on 4th March 1849 and by the ministerial decree from 27th June 1849. Disburdening from the corvée labour on the manor of Heřmanův Městec went on quite peacefully. Most of the former subjects agreed with the verdict of the County Disburdening Committee, so we encounter only minor protests, which appealed to the Land Disburdening Committee.
