Multikulturní sportovní týmy patří k novým a perspektivním tématům psychologie sportu. Obecně se lidé domnívají, že sport vede ke sdružování hráčů i diváků, umožňuje vytvářet specifické skupiny odlišné od ostatních, a nabourává pocity odlišnosti mezi domácími a přistěhovalci. Práce se v teoretické částí zabývá rozmanitými aspekty sportovní migrace: vliv globalizace na sportovní migraci, specifika multikulturních týmů atd. Cílem výzkumné části bylo porovnat skupinovou atmosféru v družstvech se zahraničními a s domácími hráči. Výzkumný vzorek tvořily 4 basketbalové týmy mužů z první a druhé ligy, u kterých byla použitá Škála skupinové atmosféry (Kollarík, 1983) ve třech jazykových mutacích. Sběr dat byl doplněn kvalitativní metodou polostrukturovaného interview s hráči a trenéry. Výzkum prokázal signifikantní rozdíly v jednotlivých dimenzích skupinové atmosféry mezi multikulturními a českými týmy, a také mezi českými a zahraničními hráči.Multicultural sport teams are one of the new and promising subjects of sport psychology. Generally people believe that sport leads to the association of players and spectators, enables to form specific groups that differ from others, and undermines feelings of differences between domestic and immigrant population. The thesis in its theoretical part focuses on various aspects of sport migration: the influence of globalization on sport migration, peculiarities of multicultural teams etc. The aim of the research part was to compare the group atmosphere in different teams with domestic and foreign players. The research sample consisted of 4 male basketball teams from the first and the second league, which were tested by the Scale of Group Atmosphere (Kollarík, 1983) in three languages. Data collection was complemented by the qualitative method of semistructural interview with players and their coaches. The results show significant differences in the individual dimensions of the group atmosphere between multicultural and Czech teams, and also between Czech and foreign players.
