Diplomová práce je zaměřena na dějiny Domova důchodců v Olomouci-Chválkovicích od prvních zmínek po současnost. Kromě obecných informací o vývoji sociální péče a problematice některých skutečností z historie podává tato práce výklad o průběhu výstavby budovy a života seniorů v jednotlivých období až po úroveň sociálních služeb v tomto zařízení dnes.The thesis is focused on the history of the old people´s home in Olomouc-Chválkovice from the first references up to the present. Apart from the general information on the social welfare development and some problem issues in the past, this project describes the process of the construction of the building and also the senior´s life in particular periods of time including the social services level in this institution today.
