Moja bakalárska práca je zameraná na oblasť života a starostlivosti o mentálne postihnuté deti a deti s Downovým syndrómom. Je členená do teoretickej a prieskumnej časti. Teoretická časť vznikla pomocou štúdia odbornej literatúry, uvedenej v zozname. Je obsiahnutá v štyroch kapitolách. V prvej kapitole vymedzujem pojmy rodiny, definujem mentálnu retardáciu, Downov syndróm, príčiny ich vzniku, druhy a stupne. V druhej kapitole opisujem vzťahy v rodine s mentálne postihnutými deťmi. Sociálne a sociálno - psychologické problémy rodín sú spomenuté v tretej kapitole a štvrtá kapitola - to sú definície ako: Deklarácia práv mentálne postihnutých, zákony Slovenskej republiky a systém inštitúcií pre tieto deti. V prieskumnej časti, čo je piata kapitola, som použila dotazník, pomocou ktorého zisťujem spokojnosť rodičov so starostlivosťou o ich deti v rôznych oblastiach života. V tejto kapitole sa nachádza charakteristika, metódy aj výsledky prieskumu.My bachelor thesis is focused on the sphere of life and taking care of mentally retarded children and the children suffering from Down's syndrome. It is divided into theoretical part and exploration part. Theoretical part is based on the study of special literature, listed below. It fills four chapters. In the first chapter I determine the terms of family, define mental retardation, Down's syndrome, the causes of incurrance, types and levels. In the second chapter I describe the relationships in family with mentally retarded children. Social and socially-psychological problems in the families are mentioned in the third chapter. The fourth chapter is aimed at the Declaration of rights of the mentally retarded, laws in the Slovak Republic and the system of institutions for these children. In the exploration part, which is the fifth chapter, I used a questionnaire helping me to learn about the content of parents with taking care of their children in different spheres of life. This chapter contains characteristics, methods and also the results of exploration.
