Pre seniorov umiestnených v domove dôchodcov sa pobyt v takomto zariadení stáva zložitou etapou ich života. Predkladaná bakalárska práca sa zaoberá adaptačným procesom seniorov v domove dôchodcov. Cieľom práce je zistiť čo najviac vplýva na proces adaptácie. Práca je rozdelená do štyroch kapitol. Prvá kapitola sa zaoberá starnutím a starobou. Druhá kapitola je venovaná sociálnej práci a dôležitosti vzťahu medzi sociálnym pracovníkov a seniorom. Tretia kapitola opisuje adaptáciu starého človeka na starobu a pobyt v domove dôchodcov. Prieskum je obsiahnutý v štvrtej kapitole spolu s interpretáciou získaných výsledkov.For seniors placed in Retirement Homes becomes a residence in this type of facility difficult period of their life. The Bachelor ?study presented here deals with an adaptation process of seniors in the Retirement Homes. Its aim is to find out what influences the adaptation process the most. This study is divided into four different chapters. The first chapter is talking about aging and old age. The second chapter is dedicated to social work and importance of the relationship between a social worker and a senior. The third chapter describes the adaptation process of an elderly person to the old age and the stay in the Residential Home. The research is included together with the interpretation of the results gained from it in the fourth chapter.
