Cílem této bakalářské práce je vytvořit soupis bibliografie překladů amerických autorů v deníku Rudé právo v letech 1963 až 1976. Tato práce by měla ukázat, kteří autoři se v daném období v tomto tiskovém orgánu ÚV KSČ překládali a proč, s ohledem na dobu, politické a sociální podmínky nejen u nás, ale i v zahraničí. V této práci lze též najít komentář k žánrové skladbě překladů, zastoupení autorů a také CD se scany vybraných článků. Součástí bylo i dohledávání úryvků z knih, které vydala v překladu česká nakladatelství.The objective of this thesis is to create a list of translations of American authors in the Czech newspaper Rudé právo between the years 1963 and 1976. This list should serve the students, teachers and the broader public to make an image about the authors who were translated and why in this official press organ of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia. It reflects the then period and political and social circumstances in our country as well as abroad. You can find a comment on the structure of translations as well as the genre, representation of authors, and the translations in this thesis. A CD with photos of selected articles is also a part of the work.
