Předmětem této diplomové práce jsou analýzy postav v díle současné francouzské spisovatelky Anny Gavaldy, jímž je sbírka povídek "Je voudrais que quelqu´un m´attende quelque part`` a romány "Je l'aimais`` a "Ensemble, c'est tout``. V úvodních částech autorka pojednává o životě Anny Gavaldy v kontextu současné francouzské literatury. V dalších třech částech stručně nastiňuje obsahy studovaných děl a v hlavní části rozebírá detailně všechna tři díla z hlediska způsobů prezentace postav. Na základě těchto rozborů se autorka pokusila charakterizovat způsob zobrazení postav u této spisovatelky. Všechny analýzy pomáhají zhodnotit fakt, proč je její dílo předmětem takového čtenářského zájmu.The subject of this thesis is the analysis of characters in the work of contemporary French author Anna Gavalda in the short-story collection "Je voudrais que quelqu´un m´attende quelque part`` and in the novels "Je l´aimais`` and "Ensemble, c´est tout``. In the introductory part the author of the thesis deals with the life of the Anna Gavalda in the context of contemporary French literature. In the next three parts she outlines the contents of the works studied and in the main part she analyses all three works according to the presentation of the characters in detail. Based on this analysis the author tried to describe author´s way of picturing the characters. All these analyses help to find out why is Anna Gavalda´s work so popular.
