Cílem diplommové práce "Implicitní teorie feminismu" bylo v teoretické části zachytit historii feminismu v jeho třech vlnách, a to jak v cizině, tak v České republice. Součástí byl také popis vnímání těchto vln soudobou společností. Poslední část teoretické práce se věnuje implicitním teoriím femininity, maskulinity a samotného feminismu. Cílem praktické části bylo zjištění, jak dnes vnímají feminismus studenti vysokých škol. Souborem nám bylo celkem 122 (49+73) studentů (49) a studentek (73) některých fakult Univerzity Palackého v Olomouci. Účastníci výzkumu jednak volně popsali/y charakteristiky typické ženy, ženy-feministky, muže a muže-šovinisty a jednak vyplnili/y Osgoodův sémantický diferenciál na feminismus a mužský šovinismus. Zjistili/y jsme, že feminismus, podobně jako mužský šovinismus jsou pro současné studenty/ky nepřijatelné, a to zejména pro jejich neslučitelnost s pojetím femininity, popř. maskulinity. Při tom žey hodnotily feminismus mírněji než muži, což si vysvětlujeme tím, že typická feministka je zaměřená na kariéru, a svobodné studentky, i vzhledem k historii naší země, vnímají zaměstnání, kromě rodiny, jako důležitou součást své seberealizace.The goal of the theoretical part of the thesis "Implicit theories of feminism" was to tak a portrait of the history of feminism in its three waves abroad, as well as in the Czech Republic. We described the perception of these by contemporary society as part of it. Last section of theory was devoted to the implicit theories of femininity, masculinity and feminism itself. The goal of the practical part was to find out how students of Universities apprehend feminism today. Altogether 122 students-men (49) and women (73) of some faculties of Palacký University in Olomouc took part in our survey. In their own words participants described characteristics of typical woman, woman-feminist, man and male-chauvinist and then they filled in the Osgood semantic differential for feminism and male-chauvinism. We found out that feminism analogous to male-chauvinism are undesirable to contemporary students, in particular for their incompatibility with the conception of femininity or masculinity themselves. Nevertheless, women-students evaluated feminism milder than men-students. We account this fact for the perceived ability of the progress in career of woman-feminist, and single women-students with regard to the history of the paid work of Czech women, as well consider job together with family as important part of their self-fulfillment.
