Bakalářská práce se zabývá veřejnoprávní institucí - Českým rozhlasem Brno. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na charakterizování duálního vysílacího systému, tedy vymezení rozdílu mezi soukromými a veřejnoprávními rozhlasovými stanicemi. Dále popisem a rozdělením rozhlasových formátů. Další kapitola rozebírá nejdůležitější momenty v historii Českého rozhlasu Brno, které utvářely nynější podobu tohoto média. Následuje schéma současné, kterým se dostávám k praktické části a popisu jednotlivých složek programu. Samozřejmě ve své práci uvádím i druhou stranu - publikum. Snažím se postihnout cílovou skupinu ČRo Brno, komunikaci mezi moderátory a posluchači a úspěšnost této komunikace, tedy poslechovost. Na závěr si osobním průzkumem ověřuji předpoklady či obecně známé skutečnosti, ale také se dozvídám informace nové. A to vyhodnocením dotazníků vztahujícím se k danému tématu. Cílem této práce je zhodnotit současné působení Českého rozhlasu Brno, stanovení obsahového formátu a zamyšlení se nad jeho budoucností.This bachelor thesis is focusing on Czech Radio Brno - a public media institution. The theoretical part is dealing with description of the dual broadcasting system. In other words it is focusing on distinguishing commercial (private) media and media of public service. Furthermore it is dealing with the description and division of radio formats. Another chapter is focusing on the most important moments in the history of Czech Radio Brno - the times during which the present image of the radio station was being shaped. The chapter is followed by focus on the present image of the station. Here, the practical part of the thesis begins with a description of individual programme components. The thesis wouldn't be complete without mentioning the other side of the communication process - the audience. I've tried to define the target audience for Czech Radio Brno and describe communication between moderators and listeners. Also I've tried to point out how this communication is succesful by focusing on the number of listeners. At the end I have included a survey which I have done to confirm some of the well known facts and stats and to receive new information as well. As a method I have used questionnaires with questions based on the topic of the thesis. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the present work of Czech Radio Brno, to describe its content format and to consider its future.
