Bakalářská práce se skládá ze dvou hlavních částí. První popisuje vývoj a hudební rysy reggae ve světě, druhá část se zaměřuje na podoby reggae v českém kontextu. Pojednání o vývoji, funkčnosti i uchopení reggae nejvýznamějšími domácími interprety tohoto stylu se často odvolává na poznatky zmíněné v prvním oddílu. V závěru práce autor ve stručnosti a s maximální mírou zobecnění shrnuje předchozí zjištění a zmiňuje ty rysy českého reggae, které jej nejvýrazněji odlišují od reggae jamajského.This bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. The first part describes the history and music atributes of reggae in the world. The second part consists of three parts, it is the descriptive discussion about the history of czech reggae, its functions and the most important interpreters. In the end of the work, there is a brief conclusion which also describes the defining music attributes, which distinguish Czech reggae from reggae on Jamaica.
