Cílem mé diplomové práce bylo proniknout do problematiky sluchově postižených, definovat příčiny sluchových postižení, vytvořit přehled základní diagnostiky sluchových vad. Dalším důležitým cílem bylo popsat prostředky, jimiž komunikují neslyšící jak spolu navzájem, tak se svým slyšícím okolím. Důležitou součástí práce byla snaha o proniknutí do problematiky neslyšících v rámci Olomouckého kraje, snaha popsat situaci v oblasti vzdělávání sluchově postižených či v sektoru sociálních a zdravotnických služeb, které jsou v Olomouckém kraji neslyšícím poskytovány. Na základě získaných údajů byl následně vypracován Adresář služeb pro sluchově postižené v Olomouckém kraji, jenž má sloužit jako přehledný sborník nabízených služeb pro neslyšící spolu s kontaktem na jednotlivé organizace či subjekty, které dané služby poskytují.The aim of my diploma work is to introduce the problems of the hearing impaired, define the causes of hearing impairments, create the basic summary of their diagnostic methods. The other main goal was to describe the means of communication used by the hearing impaired people to communicate both among themselves and with the hearing majority of the population. The important part of the work was my effort to describe the situation of the hearing impaired in Olomouc region with special stress on education and social and health services. On the basis of acquired information I have worked out the List of Services provided for the Hearing Impaired in Olomouc Region. It should serve as the list of services for the hearing impaired which is provided by various organizations with added addresses and contact of these organizations.
