Anotace V diplomové práci jsem nejprve představila vznik Československé družiny v Rusku. Následně jsem upřela pozornost na situaci za 1. světové války v Napajedlích a okolí, a na medailony osobností z Napajedel a okolí ( Komárov, Žlutava, Topolná, Březolupy ), které vstoupili do československých legií v Rusku a bojovali na Ukrajině a na Sibiřské magistrále, ve Francii a Itálii. Na konkrétních osobnostech pak ukazuji vývoj situace v Rusku v letech 1914 - 1920, a ve Francii a Itálii za 1. světové války.In my thesis I illustrate the development of the situation in Russia in years 1914 - 1920 on profile of Napajedla´s legionaries. These persons joined the Czechoslovakian legion in Russia in years 1914 - 1918. In parallel I point the situation in Napajedla in year 1914 and the influence on people´s life during the 1st world war. Consequently I introduce establishment of Czechoslovakian retinue in Russia and Czechoslovakian independent brigade and their engagement to the fights on the east front in the rows of Russia´s army. I report situation after revolutionary change in Russia and the formation of Bolsheviks. There is also described how the Czech army was able to deal with such a situation and how deeply was involved into the fights in Ukraine and on Trans-Siberian Railway. I took the chance to present the way for the return to the independent Czechoslovakia and life after the return of personalities from the area Napajedla. I describe formation of legionary organizations in years 1919 - 1921 and their integration to politic situation in new Republic. I introduce activity of Czechoslovakian legionary community and their involvement to the cultural life in the town. I gathered mainly from archiv materials from the Military Central Archiv in Prague, District Archiv in Zlin and Museum Collections in Uherske Hradiste in my thesis.
