Diplomová práce je věnována kritice současného biomedicínského modelu péče při porodu, spolu s kritikou technokratického paradigmatu jako takového. Požadavek humanizace porodnictví i medicíny vedl k definici koncepce "přirozeného porodu". Na jejím základě, spolu s celospolečenskými procesy individualizace, kritiky industrializace a genderové emancipace, se věnujeme problematice domácích porodů. V jejím rámci věnujeme obsáhlou pozornost otázce rizikovosti domácích porodů. Dále je charakterizována situace v České Republice i zahraničí. V závěru analyzujeme nejen kritizované technokratické paradigma, ale i paradigma humanistické a holistické. Do obou těchto paradigmat domácí porod jakožto sociální jev patří.The diploma thesis deals with the critique of contemporary technomedicinal model of childbirth care as well as the critique of the technocratic paradigm as such. The request of obstatrics humanization and medicine as a whole lead to the definition of the model of "natural childbirth". This critique is a basis for the discussion of the issue of home birth in connection with the individualization processes in the society, industrialization critique and gender emancipation. Within its frame, a great attention is paid to the issue of the risks of home birth. Further on follows the characteristics of the situation in the Czech Republic and abroad. In the final part of the thesis follows the analysis of not only the criticised technocratic paradigm but also the humanstic and holistic paradigm. Home birth as a social phenomenon is a part of both of these paradigms.
