Práce zkoumá jména pohostinských zařízení ve Vídni a v Berlíně. V teoretické části je nastíněna problematika vlastních jmen versus druhových a zařazení pojmu pohostinská zařízení do systému onomastiky. Dále se práce zabývá historií pojmenování hostinců a jejich typologií podle původu, pojmenovacího motivu a z hlediska slovotvorby. Na základě korpusu je provedena analýza jmen pohostinských zařízení ve Vídni a v Berlíně podle pojmenovacích motivů. Poté následuje srovnání obou korpusů.The bachelor thesis explores names of hotels and restaurants in Vienna and Berlin. In the theoretical part there are explained basic terms related to the science of {\clq}onomastics`. It also deals with the history of naming public houses and with their typology according to the origin, motives for the naming and word-formation. Afterwards it is made an analysis on the basis of a corpus of hotel and restaurant names in the explored cities. In the end there is a comparison of the differences between the corpora.
