Tato práce podává stručný přehled problematiky paréz brachiálního plexu, které jsou spojené s bolestí a s ostatními nepříjemnými důsledky, které obtěžují pacienty. V rámci této práce věnuju pozornost přeevším diagnostice, chirurgii a možnostem ovlivnění z hlediska rehabilitace. Hlavní důraz je zde však kladen na rehabilitaci léčebnou, která se snaží všemi dostupnými terapeutickými postupy minimalizovat důsledky porušení funkce horní končetiny, k nimž zákonitě po poranění brachiálního plexu dojde.This work aims to outline a brief survey of the issue of pain, discomfort and other rather annonying consequences associated with brachial plexus palsy. Within the scope of this work, I focused attention, above all, on the diagnostics, surgical and effective options from the point of view of rehabilitation. The principal focus, however, remains on therapeutical rehabilitation which endeavours, by means of all available treatment methods, minimizing the consequences of persistent upper limb malfunction pursuant to injury to the brachial plexus
