Práce se zabývá vzděláváním úředníků územních samosprávných celků (ÚSC). Cílem je začlenit vzdělávání úředníků ÚSC do koncepce vzdělávání dospělých s ohledem na nezbytnost celoživotního vzdělávání, analyzovat systém vzdělávání úředníků ÚSC na základě platné legislativy, ověřit, zda Městský úřad Kroměříž a jeho úředníci plní záko-nem stanovené povinnosti a hledat příčiny nedo-statků u těch druhů vzdělávání, u kterých plněny nejsou.The thesis deals with training of civil servants of territorial self-governing units. The aim of the thesis is to integrate the training of civil servants of territorial self-governing units into a conception of adult training with regard to the necessity of lifetime education, to analyze the training system of civil servants of territorial self-governing units based on current legislation, to verify if statutory duties of the Municipal Authority of the City of Kroměříž are perfomed by the Authority itself and its clerks, to search reasons for deficiencies of those types of training where the duties are not performed.
