Tato diplomová práce popisuje nizozemský knižní trh, jeho historický vývoj, strukturu, charakteristické rysy a aktuální stav. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí. První část je koncipována jako stručný přehled vývoje nizozemského knižního trhu s důrazem na události, které byly pro formování knižního trhu a jeho současné podoby stěžejní. Druhá část se zabývá strukturou a specifiky současného nizozemského knižního trhu, popisuje jeho aktuální stav a věnuje se podpoře knihy v nizozemské veřejném prostoru a palčivým tématům, která mají vliv na současné směřování knižní produkce. Ve třetí části se diplomová práce zabývá jednotlivými subjekty, které se podílejí na formování současného nizozemského knižního trhu, a fenomény a aktuálními trendy, které se na poli nizozemské knižní produkce prosazují v poslední dekádě a jež určují její současný stav a směřování.This thesis describes the Dutch book market, its historical development, structure, characteristics and current state. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part is designed as a brief overview of the development of the Dutch book market, with an emphasis on events that have been central to the development of the book market and its current form. The second part deals with the structure and characteristics of the current Dutch book market, it describes its current state and focuses on the promotion of the book in the Dutch public sphere and the pressing issues affecting the current book production. In the third part, the thesis examines the different actors involved in shaping the current Dutch book market and the phenomena and trends that have been influencing Dutch production of books over the last decade and that determine its current state and further development.
