Přehledová bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na specifika ošetřovatelské péče o periferně zavedený centrální žilní katétr. Předkládá aktuální dohledané poznatky o kompetencích všeobecných sester a možnostech jejich vzdělávání v oblasti periferně zaváděných centrálních katétrů se zaměřením především na Českou republiku. Dále sumarizuje aktuální dohledané poznatky o možných komplikacích spojených s periferně zaváděnými centrálními katétry a možnostech preventivních opatření k jejich předcházení v ošetřovatelské péči o tyto centrální žilní vstupy. Poznatky jsou dohledány v českých i zahraničních recenzovaných periodicích. Jsou použity databáze EBSCO, PubMed, Google Scholar a Google.The overview bachelor's thesis focuses on the specifics of nursing care for a peripherally inserted central venous catheter. It presents current researched knowledge about the competences of general nurses and the possibilities of their education in the field of peripherally inserted central catheters, focusing mainly on the Czech Republic. Furthermore, it summarizes the current findings on possible complications associated with peripherally inserted central catheters and the possibilities of preventive measures to prevent them in the nursing care of these central venous accesses. The findings are found in Czech and foreign peer-reviewed journals. EBSCO, PubMed, Google Scholar and Google databases are used.
