Přehledová bakalářská práce sumarizuje dohledané validní a aktuální poznatky o problematice rotavirové gastroenteritidy u dětí. Práce se zabývá edukací rodičů ohledně péče o jejich děti s rotavirovým onemocněním a prevencí vzniku nákazy. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena do dvou dílčích cílů. V prvním dílčím cíli jsou dohledané studie, které popisují doporučenou péči o děti s rotavirovou gastroenteritidou rodiči v domácím prostředí. Rodiče by měli být edukováni, jak správně pečovat o děti, které trpí vodnatým průjmem, zvrací, což omezuje příjem tekutin per os, tudíž jsou ohroženy dehydratací a je důležité, aby jim bylo podáno ORS (Oral Rehydration Solution). Dále je nutné rodiče poučit o volbě vhodných nebo nevhodných tekutin, ale také potravin při průběhu onemocnění. V druhém dílčím cíli se práce zabývá správnou hygienou rukou a prostředí, ve kterém se děti pohybují. Jsou zde popsána pravidla, která by měla být dodržována - kdy si mýt ruce, po jak dlouhou dobu a zdůraznění nutné izolace nemocného dítěte. Dále jsou zmíněny informace ohledně možného očkování - proočkovanost, dostupné vakcíny, tolerance, účinnost, časové období vhodné pro očkování, intervence proti horečce, otoku a další. Poznatky v bakalářské práci byly dohledány v českých a zahraničních periodicích. Jsou zde použity recenzované dokumenty z databází EBSCO, Google Scholar, Medline, ProQuest a PubMed. Pokud se dětské sestry budou více zaměřovat na edukaci celé rodiny, může to výrazně ovlivnit vzplanutí nemoci vzniklé neadekvátním řízením rotavirového průjmu v domácím prostředí.The bachelor thesis summarizes the valid and up-to-date knowledge on rotavirus gastroenteritis in children. The thesis deals with the education of parents regarding the care of their children with rotavirus disease and the prevention of infection. The bachelor thesis is divided into two sub-objectives. In the first sub-objective are traceable studies describing the recommended care of children with rotavirus gastroenteritis by parents in the home environment. Parents should be educated on how to properly care for children who suffer from watery diarrhea, vomiting, which limits fluid intake per os, so they are at risk of dehydration and it is important to provide ORS (Oral Rehydration Solution). It is also necessary to instruct parents on the choice of appropriate or inappropriate liquids, but also food during the course of the disease. In the second sub-objective, the thesis deals with correct hand hygiene and the environment in which the children occur. Here are described rules that should be followed - when to wash hands, for how long, and emphasis of the necessary isolation of the sick child. Information regarding possible vaccinations is also mentioned vaccination coverage, available vaccines, tolerance, efficiency, time period appropriate for vaccination, interventions for fever, edema etc. The findings in the bachelor thesis were found in Czech and foreign periodicals. Reviewed documents from EBSCO, Google Scholar, Medline, ProQuest and PubMed databases are used here. If paediatric nurses will focus more on educating the whole family, it can significantly influence the emergence of disease caused by inadequate management of rotavirus diarrhoea in the home environment.
