Bakalářská práce se zabývá pohledem britských novin na osobnost Marie Antoinetty v průběhu různých etap jejího života, a to před vypuknutím Velké francouzské revoluce, v jejím průběhu a konče obdobím po její popravě. Práce zkoumá, jak byla francouzská královna vyobrazována v novinách, a jestli se v průběhu času přístup novin k její osobě změnil a jestli mohla změna přístupu souviset také s konflikty, které mezi sebou vedly Velká Británie a Francie.The thesis examines the British newspaper's view of Marie Antoinette's character during the various stages of her life, before the outbreak of the Great French Revolution, during the Revolution and after her execution. The thesis examines how the French queen was portrayed in the newspapers and whether the newspapers' approach to her figure changed over time, and whether the change in approach may also have been related to the conflicts that Great Britain and France had with each other.
