Práce je věnována období největšího rozvoje obce Poruba od konce 2. světové války do konce 60. let. Sleduje rozvoj v oblasti výstavby nového města, školství, zdravotnictví, sociální péče o obyvatele, vývoj dopravní infrastruktury, zemědělství a průmyslu. Cílem práce je popsat transformaci původní zemědělské obce v centrum moderního města a sledovat, jak se změnila demografická struktura obyvatel, a jak prudký rozvoj obce ovlivnil specifika obce a její obyvatele. Práce je zpracovaná především na podkladě místních kronik, vzpomínek pamětníků a dostupné literatury.The work is devoted to the period of greatest development of the village of Poruba from the end of World War II. to the end of the 1960s. It monitors development in the area of new city construction, education, healthcare, social care for residents, development of transport infrastructure, agriculture and industry. The aim of the thesis is to describe the transformation of the original agricultural village into the center of a modern city and to observe how the demographic structure of the population changed, and how the rapid development of the village affected the specifics of the village and its inhabitants. The work is prepared primarily based on local chronicles, memories of witnesses and available literature.
