Práce zkoumá vývoj vztahu Isabely Kastilské a Ferdinanda II. Aragonského prostřednictvím korespondence a kronik. Těmito vybranými kronikami jsou kroniky Hernanda del Pulgara a Alfonska de Palencia. Práce se zaměřuje na několik aspektů v životě manželů, které jsou vzájemně provázány a na základě těchto bodů analyzuje vývoj vztahu. Zkoumanými aspekty jsou: počátky manželství Isabely a Ferdinanda se zaměřením na korunovaci v Segovii, vnitropolitické kompromisy, které musely být nastoleny v souvislosti s touto korunovací a vztah k dětem královských manželů. Tyto tři body zkoumány prostřednictvím pramenů nabízejí ucelený obraz o vývoji vztahu královny a krále. Práce také nabízí komparaci manželství Isabely Kastilské na jedné straně a Marie Kastilské na straně druhé. Cílem práce je zodpovědět otázky: Jak se vyvíjel vztah katolických veličenstev? Čím byl tento vztah charakteristický?The thesis explores the development of the relationship between Isabella of Castile and Ferdinand II. Aragon through correspondence and chronicles. The chronicles selected are those of Hernando del Pulgar and Alfonso de Palencia. The thesis focuses on several aspects in the couple's life that are interrelated and analyses the development of the relationship based on these points. The aspects examined are: the origins of the marriage between Isabella and Ferdinand, focusing on the coronation in Segovia, the internal political compromises that had to be made in relation to this coronation, and the relationship with the royal couple's children. These three points, examined through the sources, offer a comprehensive picture of the development of the relationship between the Queen and the King. The work also offers a comparison of the marriage of Isabella of Castile on the one hand and Maria of Castile on the other. The aim of the thesis is to answer the questions: how did the relationship between the Catholic Majesties evolve? What characterized this relationship?
