Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou poruch senzorického zpracování u dětí s poruchou autistického spektra a možnostmi využití smyslových přístupů, metod a pomůcek v terapii. Cílem závěrečné práce je sumarizace vědeckých poznatků a zhodnocení přínosu senzorických přístupů používaných v terapii. V první části je práce zaměřena na objasnění senzorické stimulace a její zakotvení v nervové soustavě. Následuje stručný úvod do tematiky poruch autistického spektra a jejich základních charakteristik. Hlavní část práce rozebírá poruchy senzorického zpracování a poruchy jednotlivých smyslových systémů, na ni pak navazuje kapitola o využití senzorické stimulace v terapii. V závěru práce jsou zmíněné výhody, nevýhody a limity použití senzorické stimulace v praxi. K vyhledání odborné literatury byly použity internetové databáze PubMed, EBSCO, ProQuest a Medvik v omezeném časovém horizontu od roku 2017 po rok 2022. V případech dohledání primárních zdrojů nebo specifické tematiky bylo prováděno doplňující vyhledávání. Výsledky většiny studií poukazují na pozitivní přínos senzorické stimulace v terapii u dětí s poruchou autistického spektra. Přetrvávajícími limity jsou nedostatečné množství evidence-based literatury a inkonzistentní terminologie ve vědeckých článcích.The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of sensory processing disorders in children with autism spectrum disorder and the possibilities of using sensory approaches, methods, and equipment in therapy. The aim of the thesis is to summarize scientific knowledge and evaluate the benefits of sensory techniques used in therapy. The first part of the thesis focuses on the clarification of sensory stimulation and its role in the nervous system. This is followed by a brief introduction to the topic of autism spectrum disorders and their basic characteristics. The main part of the thesis analyses sensory processing disorders and disorders of individual sensory systems, and it is followed by a chapter on the use of sensory stimulation in therapy. At the end of the thesis, advantages, disadvantages, and limitations of using sensory stimulation in practice are mentioned. Online databases PubMed, EBSCO, ProQuest, and Medvik were used to search for the literature within a limited time frame from 2017 to 2022. In cases where primary sources or specific topics were needed, additional searches were performed. The results of most studies point to the benefits of sensory stimulation in the treatment of children with autism spectrum disorder. A persistent limitation is in the lack of evidence-based literature and inconsistent terminology in scientific articles.
