Struktury orofaciální oblasti se podílejí na výkonu základních fyziologických potřeb spojených s příjmem potravy a komunikací. Při poruše těchto funkcí dochází ke snížení kvality života jedince. Tato práce se zabývá tréninkem motorické složky u vybraných onemocnění a orofaciálních poruch (např. Downův syndrom, dětská mozková obrana, paréza nervus facialis, orofaciální trauma, nádorová onemocnění). Cílem práce je shrnout koncepty a přístupy využíváné k tréninku oromotoriky v ergoterapeutické intervenci. Mezi zmiňované koncepty, které práce popisuje, řadíme např. myofunkční terapii, orofaciální regulační terapii, Bobath koncept, proprioceptivní neuromuskulární facilitaci, terapii orální pozice a další koncepty.The orofacial structures are responsible for the execution of the basic physiological needs related to food intake and communication. When those functions are impaired, the individual's quality of life is reduced. This thesis focuses on the training of fine motor skills in chosen diseases and orofacial dysfunctions (e.g. Down syndrome, children cerebral palsy, facial nerve palsy, orofacial trauma, tumor disease). The goal of this work is to summarise concepts and approaches used in fine motor skills training in occupational therapy intervention. Among concepts mentioned in this thesis are myofunctional therapy, orofacial regulation therapy, Bobath concept, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, oral placement therapy and others.
