Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na strategie, které mladé rodiny na Ostravsku využívají k vyrovnání se s klesající dostupností bydlení při zajišťování a udržování svého prvního bydlení. Práce systematicky prozkoumává kontextové faktory ovlivňující bydlení mladých rodin, včetně struktury bytového trhu, privatizace bytového fondu a vývoje cen bydlení v České republice a na Ostravsku. Dále se věnuje teoretickým aspektům bydlení a metodologii výzkumu, využívajíc kvalitativní výzkumnou strategii a zakotvenou teorii. Získaná data z polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s mladými rodinami ukazují, že běžné strategie zahrnují spolubydlení s přáteli, využívání hypoték, šetření, pronájem vlastního bytu a získání finanční a materiální podpory od rodiny. Práce také identifikuje obecní bydlení jako potenciální, ale často nedostupnou možnost. Tato práce nabízí ucelený pohled na výzvy a strategie mladých rodin v oblasti bydlení na Ostravsku.This thesis focuses on the strategies that young families in the Ostrava region use to cope with the decreasing availability of housing while securing and maintaining their first home. The work systematically examines the contextual factors affecting the housing of young families, including the structure of the housing market, the privatization of the housing fund, and the development of housing prices in the Czech Republic and specifically in Ostrava. It also addresses theoretical aspects of housing and research methodology, utilizing qualitative research strategy and grounded theory. Data obtained from semi-structured interviews with young families reveal that common strategies include cohabiting with friends, utilizing mortgages, saving, renting out their own apartment, and receiving financial and material support from family. The work also identifies municipal housing as a potential but often inaccessible option. This thesis provides a comprehensive view of the challenges and strategies of young families in the area of housing in the Ostrava region.
