Cílem práce je popis výskytu fraktálů ve výtvarném umění. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí, a to teoretické a praktické. V první zmíněné části se čtenář seznámí stručně s historií, dále se třemi různými definicemi fraktálů a jsou zde rovněž popsány tři jednoduché příklady z pohledu zavedených definic. V druhé části se pak věnujeme samotným fraktálům v umění. Jednotlivé objekty jsou řazeny převážně chronologicky od těch nejstarších po ta nejnovější a jsou popsány pomocí teoretického základu z první části.The aim of this bachelor thesis is the description of presence of fractals in fine arts. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. In the first mentioned, the reader gets briefly acquainted with the history and three different definitions of fractals as well as three simple examples from the point of view of the given definitions. In the second part, fractals in art are the focus. Individual objects are sorted mainly chronologically, from the oldest ones to the newest ones, and they are described using the theoretical basis from the first part.
