Přehledová bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou prevence syndromu diabetické nohy a edukace pacientů s onemocněním diabetes mellitus v souvislosti s touto komplikací. Teoretická východiska byla dohledána z databází Google Scholar, EBSCO a PubMED. Prvním dílčím cílem práce bylo sumarizovat aktuální dohledané publikované poznatky o preventivních opatřeních péče o dolní končetiny a o informovanosti pacientů s onemocněním diabetes mellitus o prevenci syndromu diabetické nohy. Druhým dílčím cílem bylo sumarizovat aktuální dohledané publikované poznatky o edukaci pacientů s onemocněním diabetes mellitus týkající se prevence vzniku syndromu diabetické nohy. Vhodně zvolená variabilní edukace zvyšuje sebepéči o dolní končetiny u pacientů s onemocněním diabetes mellitus. Tato bakalářská práce může být využívána všeobecnými sestrami i pacienty, kteří mají onemocnění diabetes mellitus a jsou ohroženi vznikem této komplikace.This bachelor thesis deals with the prevention of diabetic foot syndrome and education of patients with diabetes mellitus in relation to this complication. The theoretical background was retrieved from Google Scholar, EBSCO and PubMED databases. The first partial goal of this work was to summarize the current published evidence on preventive measures of lower limbs care and on the awareness of patients with diabetes mellitus disease about the prevention of diabetic foot syndrome. The second partial goal was to summarize the current published evidence on the education of patients with diabetes mellitus regarding the prevention of diabetic foot syndrome. Appropriate variable education enhances self-care of the lower limbs in patients with diabetes mellitus disease. This bachelor thesis can be used by general nurses and patients who have diabetes mellitus and are at risk of developing this complication.
