Cílem diplomové práce je představit problematiku exegeze Genesis 1 a jejího vztahu k přírodním vědám. Práce je zaměřena polemicky vůči známým představitelům naturalismu Richardu Dawkinsovi a Lorenzi Kraussovi. Naším záměrem je poukázat na skutečnost, že komplikovaný vztah mezi přírodními vědami a teologickým výkladem perikopy o stvoření v Genesis 1,1 - 2,3 neopravňuje k unáhlenému závěru, že náboženský pohled na smysl vesmíru a člověka je překonaný a nerozumný, i když leží mimo rámec metody přírodních věd.The aim of the diploma thesis is to present the issue of exegesis of Genesis 1 and its relation to natural sciences. The work is polemically focused on the well-known representatives of naturalism Richard Dawkins and Lorenzo Krauss. Our intention is to point out that the complicated relationship between the natural sciences and the theological interpretation of the pericope of creation in Genesis 1, 1-2, 3 does not justify the hasty conclusion that the religious view of the meaning of the universe and man is obsolete and unreasonable, even if it lies outside framework of the natural sciences method.
