La presente tesi si occupa del romanzo Gli indifferenti, un'opera principale della produzione letteraria di Alberto Moravia, e della sua comparazione con l'omonima trasposizione cinematografica di Leonardo Guerra Seragnoli. L'obiettivo di questa tesi consiste nell'analisi approfondita dei personaggi e degli ambienti in cui essi si muovono, ponendo particolare enfasi sulla critica antiborghese presente in entrambi i testi. L'elaborato e diviso in sei capitoli nei quali vengono presentati l'autore e le sue opere, successivamente, si procede con l'analisi del romanzo e dell'adattamento cinematografico, viene esaminata la musica e le scelte figurative utilizzate nel film, e infine viene trattato l'adattamento omonimo degli anni Sessanta, diretto da Francesco Maselli, offrendo una comparazione tra le due opere.This thesis investigates the novel The time of indifference (Gli indifferenti), the main work of Alberto Moravia's literary production, and his comparison with the homonymous film transposition of Leonardo Guerra Seragnoli. The aim of the thesis is the in-depth analysis of the characters and the environments in which they associate, with particular emphasis on the anti-bourgeois criticism present in both texts. The essay is divided into six chapters in which the author and his works are introduced. It proceeds with the analysis of the novel and the film adaptation, it examines the music and figurative choices used in the film. Eventually it deals with the homonymous film adaptation of the sixties, Time of Indifference, directed by Francesco Maselli, offering a comparison between the two works.
