Diplomová práce se věnuje využití konceptu Smart City v krajských městech České republiky. Teoretická část představuje a definuje samotný koncept Smart City. Teoretické ukotvení nachází práce i v relevantních metodikách Ministerstva místního rozvoje. Práce analyzuje koncepce Smart City a další strategické dokumenty českých měst. Dále představuje oblasti, na které se zaměřují jednotlivé strategické dokumenty a shrnuje výsledky v přehledové tabulce. Práce identifikuje klíčová slova koncepčních dokumentů, porovnává koncepce jednotlivých měst s praxí a představuje projekty, které města uskutečnila či uskutečňují. Výsledky ukazují, že závaznou strategii Smart City mělo ke konci roku 2022 šest krajských měst a zaměřují se primárně na oblasti životního prostředí a mobility. Diskuze zmiňuje limity práce a poskytuje dodatečné informace. V závěru jsou shrnuty výsledky práce a navrženo další rozšíření výzkumu.This Master's thesis is dedicated to the implementation of the Smart City concept in regional cities of the Czech Republic. The theoretical part introduces and defines the Smart City concept itself. The thesis also finds theoretical anchorage in relevant methodologies of the Ministry of Regional Development. The thesis analyses Smart City conceptual documents and other strategic documents. Furthermore, the key areas that the strategic documents target are presented, and the results are visualized in an overview table. This thesis also identifies the keywords of conceptual documents, compared the documents of individual cities with practice, and presents projects that the cities have undertaken or are undertaking. The results show that six regional cities had a binding Smart City strategy at the end of 2022, focusing primarily on the areas of the environment and mobility. The thesis' limits are mentioned in the discussion and additional information is provided. The results of the work are summarised in the conclusion and further expansion of the research is proposed.
