Disertační práce se zabývá básnickou a prozaickou tvorbou Ireny Douskové. Klade si za cíl postihnout specifika autorčiny tvorby a charakterizovat pozici jejího díla v kontextu současné české literatury. Východiskem pro analýzu beletristických děl Douskové je stanovení čtyř stěžejních tezí, jejichž platnost a relevance jsou postupně ověřovány. V rámci první teze předpokládáme, že časové zasazení děl je pro Irenu Douskovou nezbytným předpokladem pro utváření charakterů postav. V druhé tezi sledujeme, nakolik splývá role autorky s rolí vypravěčky, respektive v jaké míře je vypravěčka dotována autobiografickými prvky a rysy. Třetí teze se zaměřuje na postavy. Předpokládáme, že postavy-definice jsou v tvorbě Douskové většinou nositeli negativních vlastností, zatímco postavy-hypotézy jsou zpravidla poznamenány těžkým osudem a čelí v životě nespravedlnosti. Poslední teze se týká volby témat, přičemž za klíčová považujeme v díle Douskové především témata totalita, židovství a vztah rodiče s dítětem. Prostor a pozornost je věnována také analytickým interpretacím uměleckých textů Douskové, speciálně pak volbě názvů či jejich kompozici.The dissertation focuses on the poetic and prose works of Irena Dousková. Its aim is to capture the specifics of the author's creation and characterize the position of her work in the context of contemporary Czech literature. The analysis of Dousková's literary works is based on the establishment of four fundamental theses, whose validity and relevance are gradually verified. The first thesis assumes that the temporal setting of the works is an essential prerequisite for character development for Irena Dousková. The second thesis examines the extent to which the role of the author merges with the role of the narrator, specifically the extent to which the narrator is influenced by autobiographical elements and traits. The third thesis focuses on the characters. It is assumed that character definitions in Dousková's works mostly embody negative qualities, while character hypotheses are typically marked by a difficult fate and face injustice in their life. The final thesis concerns the choice of themes, with a particular emphasis on totalitarianism, Jewish identity, and the parent-child relationship in Dousková's works. The dissertation also devotes space and attention to analytical interpretations of Dousková's artistic texts, especially regarding the selection and composition of titles.
