Bakalářská práce se vztahuje k tématu narativní analýzy snímku v kontextu detektivního žánru. Práce se metodologicky opírá o narativní teorii Davida Bordwella, která je na snímek aplikovaná a je rozšířena o dotazník pro diváky. Metodologie je rozšířená o studii Miftakhula Knoiroha věnující se strategii klamání a o článek Erica Sandberga zaměřující se na motiv nostalgie. Hlavním cílem práce bylo provedení narativní analýzy snímku Na nože (2019) v kontextu tradičních postupů detektivního žánru a zlatého věku detektivky, jejich pravidel, zavedených konvencí, motivu nostalgie, a to celé s ohledem na aktivitu diváka. Po provedení analýzy docházím k závěru, že snímek Na nože (2019) dodržuje konvence detektivního žánru v obecné rovině (prostředí, postavy) a vysokou mírou sebeuvědomění využívá žánr ve svou prosperitu. Snímek výrazně inovuje přístup narativního vyprávění. Vyprávění využívá flashbacky, skrz ně vypravěči předávají informace divákům o fabuli. Syžet používá opakování událostí a časové mezery, což vede k aktivujícím účinkům na diváka.The bachelor thesis relates to the topic of narrative analysis of a film in the context of the detective genre. Methodologically, the thesis is based on David Bordwell's narrative theory applied on the film and is extended by a questionnatre for the audience. The methodology is extended by Miftakhul Knoiroh's study on the strategy of deception and Eric Sandberg's article focusing on the motive of nostalgia. The main aim of the thesis was to conduct a narrative analysis of the Knives Out (2019) in the context of traditional practices of the detective genre and the Golden Age of the Detective Fiction, their rules, established convetions, and the motive of nostalgia, all with regard to the activity of the viewer. After conducting the analysis, I conclude that the film Knives Out (2019) adheres to the conventions of the detective genre on a general level (setting, characters) and uses the genre to its advantage with a high degree of self-awareness. The film significantly innovates the narrative approach. The narrative uses flashbacks, through which the narrators convey information about the plot to the audience. The plot uses repetition of events and temporal gaps, which leads to activating effects on the viewer.
