Predkladana diplomova prace se zabyva porovnanim psychickych vlastnosti orientacnich bezcu z Ceske republiky a Francie hodnocenych pomoci sestifaktoroveho dotazniku Psychological Characteristics of Developing questionnaire - PCDEQ. Vyzkumny soubor tvorilo celkem 165 respondentu z Ceske republiky (n = 106) a Francie (n = 59) ve veku 14-21 let. Nejprve je obecne charakterizovan orientacni beh spolu s pozadavky kladene na orientacni bezce a popisem prace s talentovanymi bezci. Dale je definovan sportovni talent a jeho identifikace, a vymezeni psychickych vlastnosti nutnych k rozvoji vyjimecnosti. V nasledujici casti prace jsou pak tyto vlastnosti detailne porovnany spolecne s interpretaci statisticky zjistenych vysledku a shrnuty v ramci celkoveho porovnani mezi obema zememi, vykonnostnimi urovnemi a pohlavim.The thesis deals with the comparison of psychological characteristics of orienteering runners from the Czech Republic and France, assessed by the six-factor Psychological Characteristics of Developing Questionnaire - PCDEQ. The research group consisted of a total of 165 respondents from the Czech Republic (n = 106) and France (n = 59), aged 14-21 years. Firstly, orienteering is characterised in general, together with the requirements for orienteers and a description of the work with talented young orienteers. Sporting talent and its identification are also defined, as well as the psychological qualities necessary for the development of excellence. In the following part of the thesis, these characteristics are compared in detail, together with the interpretation of the statistical results, and summarised in the overall comparison between the two countries, performance levels and gender.
