Tématem této práce jsou mediální tituly Vrij Nederland a Trouw, které vznikly v Nizozemsku během druhé světové války. Nejdříve - roku 1940 - vznikl Vrij Nederland jako odbojový tisk a posléze se od něj v důsledku politických neshod oddělil Trouw. Vrij Nederland se nadále profiloval jako levicové periodikum, přičemž Trouw se naopak stal novinami protestantské pravice. Tato práce pomocí teoretického základu ze strukturálně funkčního a technologicky deterministického pohledu srovnává historii obou periodik, některé ekonomické aspekty jejich vydávání a osobnosti v jejich čele.The topic of this thesis is the media titles Vrij Nederland and Trouw, which originated in the Netherlands during World War II. First - in 1940 - Vrij Nederland was established as a clandestine newspaper, and later Trouw separated from it due to political disagreements. Vrij Nederland continued to profile itmself as a left-wing periodical, while Trouw became a newspaper of right-wing protestants. Using a theoretical basis from a structural functionalism and technologically deterministic point of view, this work compares the history of both periodicals, some economic aspects of their publishing and their leading personalities.
