Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá srovnáním českého a německého překladu knihy Game of Thrones od amerického autora G.R.R. Martina. Stěžejní částí této práce je vlastní komparativní analýza jednotlivých překladů. Analýza překladatelských strategií a postupů je zaměřena na překlad názvů v knize: vlastní jména, zeměpisné názvy, název díla a další specifické označení a pojmenování.This bachelor thesis deals with a comparison of the Czech and German translations of Game of Thrones by the American author G.R.R. Martin. The main part of this thesis is the actual comparative analysis of each translation. The analysis of translation strategies and practices focuses on the translation of names in the book: proper names, geographical names, the title of the work and other specific designations and naming.
