Tématem této bakalářské práce je sémiologická teorie Rolanda Barthesa v podobě, kterou představuje ve svém díle Mytologie. V několika kapitolách jsou popsány zdroje, ze kterých Barthes pro svou sémiologickou koncepci čerpal. Vedle Barthesových úvah o znaku a mýtu se objevuje i politická angažovanost spisu. Problematikou tohoto politického ražení textu se práce zabývá. Pojednává o kontextu v němž se politické pasáže nacházejí a zabývá se otázkou do jaké míry jejich obsah ovlivňuje teoretický základ a kompozici díla.The subject of this bachelor thesis is Roland Barthes' semiological theory as presented in his work Mythology. Several chapters describe the sources Barthes drew upon for his semiological conception. In addition to Barthes's reflections on sign and myth, the political engagement of the book is revealed. The thesis addresses the issue of this political undertone of the text. It discusses the context in which the political passages are situated and addresses the question of the extent to which their content influences the theoretical basis and composition of the work.
