El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar la construcción del espacio en la obra La casa verde del escritor peruano Mario Vargas Llosa. El objeto del análisis es principalmente la ciudad de Piura y la propia Casa Verde. En la primera parte nos centramos en el concepto de espacio ficcional en general. Describimos brevemente el proceso de su percepción, caracterizamos sus relaciones con otras categorías narrativas y mostramos sus formas discursivas. Presentamos las teorías de Mijaíl Bajtín y Daniela Hodrová y sus conceptos del cronotopo y topos. En la segunda parte nos dedicamos al espacio de la novela misma, enfocando su función y significado dentro de la obra, y sus cambios con el tiempo. Nos ocupamos de los mitos que rodean a la Casa Verde y analizamos los niveles de narración por los que el autor nos transmite el espacio y así trata de captar "totalmente" la realidad multiforme.The objective of this thesis is to analyze the construction of space in the work The Green House by the Peruvian writer Mario Vargas Llosa. The object of the analysis is mainly the city of Piura and the Green House itself. In the first part we focus on the concept of fictional space in general. We briefly describe the process of its perception, characterize its relations with other narrative categories and show its discursive forms. We present the theories of Mikhail Bakhtin and Daniela Hodrová and their concepts of the chronotope and topos. The second part is dedicated to the space of the novel itself, focusing on its function and meaning within the story, and its changes over time. We deal with the myths that surround the Green House and analyze the levels of narration that the autor uses to depict the space and thus tries to "totally" capture the multiform reality.
