Bakalářská práce se zabývá významnými stromy a jejich hodnocením. Na základě metodiky identifikace významných stromů bylo vyhledáno 10 jedinců nebo uskupení stromů ve městě Olomouc a v jejím okolí. U těchto stromů byly zjišťovány dendrometrické údaje, popsána jejich významnost, lokalita a hodnocen jejich zdravotní stav. V teoretické části jsou vysvětleny pojmy významný a památný strom. Zabývá se také dřevinami jako součástí městské zeleně a popisuje její nejvýznamnější funkce pro městské prostředí. Dále práce shrnuje historický vývoj a ochranu zeleně ve městě. Výstupem práce je zdokumentování 10 významných stromů nebo uskupení stromů a posouzení jejich stavu.The bachelor thesis deals with important trees and their evaluation. On the basis of the methodology of identification of significant trees, 10 individuals or groups of trees were found in the city of Olomouc and its surroundings. Dendrometric data were collected for these trees, their significance and location were described and their health condition was assessed. In the theoretical part, the terms important and monumental tree are explained. It also deals with trees as part of the urban green areas and describes its most important functions for the urban environment. Furthermore, the thesis summarizes the historical development and conservation of urban green areas. The output of the thesis is the documentation of 10 important trees or groups of trees and an assessment of their condition.
