Bakalářská práce se zabývá fenoménem smrti u zaměstnanců pohřební služby s cílem analyzovat a popsat, jak reflektují téma smrti. Práce je členěna do dvou částí, teoretické a výzkumné části. Teoretická část se skládá ze tří větších kapitol, kdy pozornost je věnována smrti, problematice tabuizace smrti a smrti součástí života. Výzkumná část se skládá ze čtyř větších kapitol a zaměřuje se na uvedení do výzkumu, zvolený metodologický rámec, analýzu, diskuzi a závěr. Výzkum byl zaměřen na zaměstnance pohřební služby, kde bylo za cíl analyzovat a popsat, jak reflektují téma smrti. Jako metoda bylo zvoleno kvalitativní výzkumné šetření. Bylo využito interpretativní fenomenologické analýzy, kdy jsem se zaměřila na žitou zkušenost participantů a jako metoda získávání dat bylo využito polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. Jelikož je interpretativní fenomenologická analýza zaměřena na zachycení zkušenosti individuálně, výsledky práce jsou u jednotlivých participantů odlišné, avšak nacházím i jisté shody.The bachelor thesis deals with the phenomenon of death in the staff of the funeral service in order to analyze and describe how they reflect on the topic of death. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and research. The theoretical part consists of three major chapters, where attention is paid to death, the issue of death taboo and death part of life. The research part consists of four major chapters and focuses on the research problem, the chosen methodological framework, analysis, discussion and conclusion. The research focused on funeral staff, where the aim was to analyze and describe how they reflect on the subject of death. A qualitative research survey was chosen as the method. An interpretive phenomenological analysis was used, where I focused on the lived experience of the participants and a semi-structured interview was used as a method of data acquisition. Since the interpretive phenomenological analysis is focused on capturing the experience individually, the results of the work are different for individual participants, but I also find some similarities.
