Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na význam míst v souvislosti s koncepty topofilie a topofobie, na jeho proměnu v rámci lineárního toku času a na potenciální úpravy a opatření, která by mohla vést ke zvýšení atraktivity a pocitu bezpečí na různých místech města Přerov. Dostatečně širokou datovou základnu výzkumu poskytla dvojice dotazníkových šetření (n1 = 374; n2 = 1 078 respondentů), v nichž obyvatelé města prostřednictvím metod mentálního mapování poskytli subjektivní názory na místa, která vnímají pozitivně nebo negativně. Shodují se jak na poloze a důvodech topofilií (park Michalov - příroda), tak i topofobií (Husova ulice - Romové).The diploma thesis focuses on the meaning of places of the town of Přerov using the concepts of topophilia and topophobia. It also examines reasons behind the meanings and its transformation within the linear flow of time. Also potential steps that could help to attractiveness and perceived safety increase are taken into account. Some sufficient data samples (n1 = 374; n2 = 1,078 inhabitants) were gathered by using two different questionnaire surveys containing mental mapping tasks. Thus, subjective residents' opinions revealed which places are being perceived most positively or most negatively whilst a significant number of them shares the same point of view both on the locations and on the reasons. The most topophilic places were associated with natural environment (the Michalov park), whereas the main topophibias were based on the places which are related to the Roma ethnic minority (the Husova street).
