Tato práce shrnuje platnou vodohospodářskou legislativu s ohledem na šetření a řešení následků havárií na tocích, dále klade důraz na metodiku odběru vzorků jako nejdůležitější část procesu šetření. Na území České republiky dochází ročně k více než stovkám havárií, které mohou závažně ohrozit jakost vody, poškodit ekosystémy a v některých případech i znehodnotit pitnou vodu pro obyvatelstvo. Havárie způsobuje celá řada faktorů. Avšak nejvíce příčin havárií zůstává nezjištěno. Příkladem je havárie na řece Bečvě, která patří k jedné z největších havárií na našem území. Na základě získaných poznatků je součástí práce metodický návrh postupu, apelující na odběr vzorků a zajištění akreditovaných osob pro jeho provedení, včetně rozdělení kompetencí mezi jednotlivé subjekty působící při šetření havárií.This thesis summarises the current water legislation with regard to the investigation and management of the consequences of accidents on streams, and emphasises the sampling methodology as the most important part of the investigation proces. More than a hundred accidents occur annually in the Czech Republic, which can seriously threaten water quality, damage ecosystems and in some cases even make drinking water unsafe for the population. The accidents are caused by a range of factors. However, most causes of accidents remain undetected. An example is the accident on the river Bečva, which is one of the largest accidents on our territory. On the basis of the obtained knowledge, the thesis includes a methodological proposal for a procedure, calling for sampling and provision of accredited persons for its implementation, including the division of competences between the various entities operating in the investigation of accidents.
