Tato teoretická práce poskytuje vhled do aktuálního stavu výzkumu psychedelik v léčbě deprese, úzkosti a existenciálního distresu u pacientů s nevyléčitelným onemocněním. V práci představíme využití jak klasických (psilocybin, LSD) tak atypických (ketamin, MDMA) psychedelik. Klienti s nevyléčitelným onemocněním mohou trpět závažným psychickým stavem, který často souvisí s existenciálním distresem. Současné psychoterapeutické a farmakoterapeutické metody léčby se zdají být ve své účinnosti omezené. Ukazuje se, že psychedeliky asistovaná psychoterapie může být pro tyto klienty velmi nadějnou léčbou. Nejprve shrnujeme obecné informace o paliativní péči, psychedelikách a psychedeliky asistované psychoterapii. Stěžejní částí této práce je souhrn a rozbor vybraných studií (2011-2021), které se zabývají využitím psychedelik v léčbě klientů v paliativní péči.This theoretical work provides insight into the current state of research on psychedelics in the treatment of depression, anxiety and existential distress in patients with terminal illness. In this thesis, we present the use of both classical (psilocybin, LSD) and atypical (ketamine, MDMA) psychedelics. Clients with terminal illness may suffer from severe psychological conditions that are often related to existential distress. Current psychotherapeutic and pharmacotherapeutic treatment methods appear to be limited in their effectiveness. It appears that psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy may be a very promising treatment for these clients. We first summarize general information about palliative care, psychedelics and psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. The central part of this paper is a summary and analysis of selected studies (2011-2021) that address the use of psychedelics in the treatment of clients in palliative care.
