Předmětem této studie je zhodnocení tepelného komfortu vybraných dětských hřišť na území statutárního města Olomouce v průběhu letních měsíců roku 2021. Výzkum je tvořen z měření meteorologických hodnot potřebných pro výpočet indexu UTCI (Universal Thermal Comfort Index), které byly získány pomocí upravených meteorologických stanic pro výzkum tepelného komfortu v městském prostředí. Součástí studie je též měření teplot vybraných herních prvků a povrchů hřišť pomocí infračerveného teploměru. Studie přináší poznatky o prostředí vybraných dětských hřišť v Olomouci a jejich stavu během horkých dní z pohledu tepelného komfortu. Výsledky zdůrazňují velkou variabilitu tepelného komfortu způsobenou odlišnými aspektu daných lokalit. Prostřednictví navržených kroků studie přináší doporučení úprav dětských hřišť v městském prostředí. Studie zdůrazňuje vliv stínících prvků jako jeden z nejúčinnějších způsobů eliminování rizika vzniku stresu z tepla.The subject of this study is to evaluate the thermal comfort of selected playgrounds in the territory of the Statutory City of Olomouc during the summer months of 2021. The research consists of meteorological measurements necessary for the calculation of the UTCI (Universal Thermal Comfort Index), which were obtained using modified meteorological stations for research on thermal comfort in urban environments. The study also includes temperature measurements of selected play elements and playground surfaces using an infrared thermometer. The study provides knowledge about the environment of selected playgrounds in Olomouc and its condition during hot days from the perspective of thermal comfort. The results highlight the high variability of thermal comfort caused by different aspects of the sites. Through the proposed steps, the study provides recommendations for modifications of playgrounds in urban environments. The study highlights the influence of shading elements as one of the most effective ways to eliminate the risk of heat stress.
