Tato práce se zabývá kulturními a institucionálními poměry, na základě kterých se snaží popsat dynamiku vzájemných vztahů mezi kulturou a formálními institucemi. V první části práce popíše obecnou charakteristiku kultury a institucí, vztahy mezi nimi a teorie instituční změny. Následně druhá část se zaměří na konkrétní případ Jižní Koreje, kde pohledem stanoveného teoretického rámce budou analyzovány moderní společenské reálie.This thesis dwells upon cultural and institutional conditions through which it attempts to decribe the dynamics of mutual relationship between culture and formal institutions. In the first part, the thesis will describe general characteristics of culture and institutions, the relationship between them and theories of institutional change. In the second part, the specific case of South Korea will be examined through the lenses of the established theoretical framework and modern social conditions will be analysed.
