Bakalářská práce je postavena na překladu populárně-naučného textu, který je úzce spojen s uměnovědnou tematikou. Cílovou čtenářskou skupinou tohoto textu jsou návštěvníci kulturní památky ve Vídni. Text svou funkcí proto zasahuje také do oblasti kulturního turismu. Cílem bakalářské práce je na základě překladu textu z němčiny do češtiny a jeho následné analýzy odhalit a přiblížit možná specifika překladu takto zaměřeného druhu literatury. Hlavními předpokládanými specifiky je práce s odbornou uměnovědnou terminologií, metaforami a zajištění populárně-naučné čtivosti pro laickou veřejnost.The base of the present thesis is translation of a popular scientific text closely pertaining to art history. The intended audience of the text are visitors of a historical sight in Vienna. For this reason, the text also touches upon the area of cultural tourism. The goal of the thesis is to explore and expound potential specifics of translation of this literary genre based on an analysis of a translation of the text from German to Czech. The main specifics assumed are handling of technical terminology of art history, the use of metaphor and ensuring popular scientific readability for the general public.
