Předmětem diplomové práce je recepce seriálu Sex education konkrétní diváckou skupinou, a to českými teenagery. Zaměřovat se budu především na to, jak zmíněná skupina vnímá diverzitu zobrazených identit v tomto seriálu, přičemž důraz bude kladen na rasovou a genderovou identitu. V teoretické části se proto budu věnovat současnému publiku a výzkumům s ním spojených, dále mě bude zajímat koncept mediální reprezentace ve filmech a seriálech a v neposlední řadě přiblížím samotný seriál Sex education. V druhé části se následně věnuji už metodologickému popisu a samotné prezentaci výsledků na základě analýzy výzkumu, která byla postavena na polostrukturovaných rozhovorech s českými teenagery.The main subject of this thesis is the reception of the British series Sex education by a specific group of viewers - Czech teenagers. The aim of this work is to find out if these Czech teenagers are aware of the diversity of identities that are represented in the series, especially race and gender identity. The first part of this thesis is focusing on the audience and researches that are associated with it. The concept of media representation will be also included, as well as a short summary of the series. The second part of the thesis is devoted to a methodological description and the presentation of analysis which is based on half-structured interviews with Czech teenagers.
